Me? . . . artist, writer, architect, educator, bird watcher, sports enthusiast, devoted family man and loyal friend . . . along with other interests.

My wanderings have crisscrossed the world, exploring over 70 countries. Through a personal lens of inquiry I have immersed my mind in both the natural and built environment.

My mom says I am “afflicted with interests”; my sister says my downfall is “shiny objects.” But these gifts allow me to approach life and its experiences in an open, curious, and enthusiastic way.

Although my wife and I grew up in Hometown, USA, we have lived overseas for more than twenty years: Poland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Dominican Republic. We currently reside in Bogotá, Colombia and return “home” to Minnesota from time to time.

Looking forward, who knows where I will wander next … or what shiny object will capture my attention.
